About Our Speaker:

Our speaker, Dr. Erica Holding, is the Executive Director and Founder of Avita Nova, a behavioral services company located in Lake Forest, CA. Dr. Holding received her Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Connecticut and her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Rutgers the State University of New Jersey. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral level. Dr. Holding has over 20 years of experience in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of children, adolescents, and young adults with a variety of developmental disabilities and behavior disorders in school, home, community, and clinic settings. She has presented at numerous national and international conferences on a variety of topics regarding effective autism treatment, parenting and enhancing child development. Her clinical work has focused on helping individuals and families to achieve happier, more fulfilling relationships and lives. Her professional interests lie in the remediation of developmental delays and the treatment of social and behavioral disorders in children and young adults. She is the mom to her son Simon and step-mom to step-daughters, Jaclyn, Kendall, and Sarah Holding. Dr. Holding is also a valued member of the Grandparents Autism Network’s board of directors.
